To commemorate World Environment Day on 5th June 2025, Sulabh, in collaboration with G4S – An Allied Universal Company and JP Morgan Chase & Co. (JPMC), organized a large-scale plantation drive across four public schools in Deonar Colony and Tata Nagar, Govandi, Mumbai.
A total of 140 trees were planted within school premises, and additional potted plants were distributed to raise awareness on environmental conservation and sustainability. The event was designed not only to enhance green cover but also to engage and educate young students on the importance of preserving our planet.
The initiative was attended by senior representatives from partner organizations, including:
- Mr. Rudra Pratap Singh Chauhan, Executive Director – Global Security, JPMC
- Mr. Parag Vohra, Vice President – Global Security, JPMC
- Mr. S.T. Rizvi, Hub Director – Mumbai, G4S
- Shri Ajay D. Wani, Administrative Officer – Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation
- Smt. Priyanka Kelkar, Principal of the host school
The event featured student-led performances themed around environmental protection, followed by an address by Mr. S.T. Rizvi, who applauded the students for their commitment to a greener future.
With over 125 attendees, the drive concluded with the felicitation of student performers, leaving a strong message of collective action for environmental wellbeing.
