Millions of underprivileged people in India are deprived of their basic right to hygiene, sanitation and toilet. They are forced to go out daily in open fields and other spaces for defecation, where they are subjected to unhealthy conditions, poor sanitation, leading to poor health and bad living standards. Conditions for women and children, especially the girl child is far worse.
Since its inception, SSMF has been working towards tackling these issues. An invaluable contribution to this cause comes from the persistent efforts of the SSMF volunteers. SSMF offers a diverse range of volunteering opportunities. Through these, you can not only contribute towards the betterment of the society but also undergo a transformative journey for yourselves!

PAGs are groups of motivated individuals, like you, who want to create lasting change in the lives of people. They work together to not only create awareness but also help to eliminate major problems affecting people in urban slum areas.
