CSR Activities

On 17^th of October, Sulabh sanitation Mission Foundation in collaboration with Hitachi India Pvt. Ltd. inaugurated their Sanitary Napkin Manufacturing Unit in Daryapur, Jhajjar, Haryana. This Project is supported by the Hitachi India Pvt. Ltd. under their CSR initiative having focus on Women‘s menstrual Hygiene under heading, “Sustainable Health Enterprise”. There are in total 09 target villages of this project.  Program was graced by the presence of Officials from Hitachi, Sarpanchs/ Head of all the villages, school teachers, Aanganwadi workers and Health supervisors.  All the dignitaries express their views about the need of proper sanitation and Hygiene for women. We also discussed that how this intervention of Sulabh will prove beneficial in improving the overall health of women of all the 09 targeted villages. Menstrual Hygiene is not a just a women’s issue; it’s a community concern. Men, elders and youth were encouraged to attend the event to foster a more inclusive and understanding environment.
